Recent ChatGPT pricing changes
- ChatGPT Pro 200 reopens to new subscribers, with less included usage
OpenAI again sells the $200 Pro plan to new subscribers, now with a lower usage allowance. People subscribed between September 22 and 29, 2026 keep the previous allowance through October 29. OpenAI now names the plans Pro 100, Pro 200 and Pro 500; Pro 500 adds GPT-6.1 Sol Ultrafast alongside GPT-6 Astra Ultrafast.
- ChatGPT Pro adds a $500 plan
Pro is now offered at $100, $200 or $500 a month. The $500 plan includes access to GPT-6 Astra Ultrafast mode.
- ChatGPT Pro $200 (20x) sign-ups paused
OpenAI paused new sign-ups and upgrades to the Pro $200 plan. Existing Pro $200 subscriptions and the Pro $100 plan are not affected.
